All of the diabetic socks from LanCha Textiles are knitted oversized to insure comfort.  We now offer the DS-500R Women's & DS-501R Men's 100% cotton diabetic sock.  These socks are unique in their special construction.  The foot of the sock is padded and soft 100% cotton with just enough stretch to allow for swelling without discomfort.  The leg of the sock is made using a special marpul stitch, giving it the extra stretch needed in a diabetic sock.  The sock has just enough stretch to keep the sock up without discomfort, even if you suffer from swelling of the calves.  We also make this sock in a style DS-500Q which is the same style as the DS-500R but made in queen size for slightly larger legs.  These socks come in white, black, navy, and tan.  We also offer two styles of Diabetic Active socks for those on the go.  These are made of cotton, acrylic, nylon, and spandex.  The foot portion is heavily padded and the acrylic yarn wicks moisture away from the foot to the outside of the sock to keep the foot dry and warm.  The Diabetic Active sock comes in two styles for both men and women, the crew sock and the 1/4 sock for both sexes.  You will find that our seamless toe used in all of our diabetic socks offers a more comfortable fit than other socks you may have at home.  The last type of diabetic socks are the sheer nylon styles made especially for diabetic women.  The sheer nylon diabetic socks are knit with a special yarn that offers more stretch and breathes better than traditional nylons.  Both of the products offered in the sheer variety are made with a 100% cotton sole for comfort and protection.  The sole portion of the sock is knit into the foot of the sock by the knitting machine and offers far more comfort than a 100% nylon foot.  The sheer variety diabetic socks are made in both ankle and knee high varieties.
